Society of London Theatre & UK Theatre – Head of Employment Relations

Society of London Theatre & UK Theatre
London£60-80k

A senior, influential industrial relations role at the heart of British theatre — an opportunity to shape how the entire sector works.

The Society of London Theatre (SOLT) and UK Theatre, the membership bodies for the theatre sector, are seeking an exceptional Head of Employment Relations to lead complex negotiations, build strong partnerships with trade unions and members, and champion fair, sustainable employment across one of the UK’s most vibrant industries.

Reporting directly to the Co-CEOs, you’ll set the strategic direction for employment relations, advise senior leaders and equip theatre employers with the knowledge and confidence to thrive. This is a high-profile and senior role with the opportunity to influence industry-wide practice, navigate complex challenges and help create a modern, productive working environment for theatre.

We’re looking for a collaborative and credible leader with the ability to shape and lead complex negotiations from strategy through to the negotiating table. You’ll bring excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, sound knowledge of UK employment law and collective bargaining, and the ability to build consensus across diverse interests.

Monitoring

These questions are for monitoring only, and clients never see them next to your name — not now, not at shortlist, not ever. When presented to the company they are separated from your application and counted into anonymous figures for this search, with no name, no email address and nothing that connects them back to you, so they cannot count for or against you. Every question offers “Prefer not to say”, recorded exactly like any other answer.

Your name, contact details, CV and any supporting statement come to us as your application. Your monitoring answers are held by TH Consulting and are never released to clients in a way that identifies you. They are never used to decide who progresses.
